Sharp punchlines, a catchy hook, an unmatched tempo and what sounds like the craziest night of your life all come together for a strong single. For his final verse, Jay spits at the speed of light, proving he can hang with the fastest rappers in the game. Demonstrators Storm Police Station (Riot)

Demonstrators stormed a police department in Orange County California on Sunday to protest an officer-involved shooting that left an unarmed man dead and led to a violent clash between witnesses and police. 

A crowd swarmed the Anaheim Police headquarters' lobby as Chief John Welter held a news conference to discuss what happened the night before. The protesters chanted "no justice, no peace" and "cops, pigs, murderers" as officers stood by and watched.


Welter said two officers were placed on paid leave after one of them fatally shot 24-year-old Manuel Diaz.


He said the officers approached three men in an alleyway when they ran away. One of the officers chased Diaz to the front of an apartment complex where the shooting occurred. 


The shooting sparked a melee in the neighborhood as some threw rocks and bottles at officers who were securing the scene for investigators to collect evidence. Sgt. Bob Dunn, the department's spokesman, said that as officers detained an instigator, the crowd advanced on officers so they fired bean bags and pepper balls at them.

Video captured by a KCAL-TV crew showed a chaotic scene as some people ducked to the ground and others scattered screaming. A man is seen yelling at an officer even as a weapon is pointed at him; two adults huddled to shield a boy and girl. Meanwhile, a police dog charged at several people sitting on the grass, including a woman and a child in a stroller, before biting a man in the arm.

Dunn said the dog accidentally got out of a patrol car. He said he didn't know whether police warned the crowd to disperse before firing the rubber bullets and pepper balls.

Crystal Ventura, a 17-year-old who witnessed the shooting, told the Register that the man had his back to the officer. Ventura said the man was shot in the buttocks area. The man then went down on his knees, she said, adding that he was struck by another bullet in the head. Ventura said another officer handcuffed the man, who by then was on the ground and not moving.

"They searched his pockets, and there was a hole in his head, and I saw blood on his face," Ventura told the newspaper.

Penn State Gets Raped By NCAA

Penn State got made an example out of by the NCAA.


The punishment, announced by the National College Athletic Association at a news conference in Indianapolis, was unprecedented for its swiftness and breadth. It was the latest blow to an institution still reeling from Sandusky's conviction last month on child molestation charges.

NCAA President Mark Emmert said the school had put "hero worship and winning at all costs" ahead of integrity, honesty and responsibility.

2. banned from post-season bowl games

My Take On Things

This impacts every Student but ultimately impacts the student athletes of every Penn State sport program. Me Personally with no affiliation whatsoever to Penn State, Well other than I live in Pennsylvania think this was done just to so how big its dick is by saying no school is to big to be put down by any means whatsoever. One man started the domino effect that is now effecting people who had no clue the whole thing was going on. It's putting a huge stain on A mans legacy spanning more then 40 years. I feel the bad for the young men who were effected from that sicko that abused his power. I also feel bad for the Athletes who are Seniors an Juniors because all their work they've put in working for their dream of playing in a Bowl game. The Football players are aloud to transfer but at this point whats it really worth? I just hope the students who have a real talent that the NFL scouts take noticed to their play an least give them a shot at the biggest dream of playing in the NFL.

Usher's Stepson Taken Off Life Support

Usher's 11-year-old stepson, Kile Glover, has died of injuries sustained in a jet ski accident earlier this month in Atlanta, Georgia, according to TMZ. Glover, who had been declared brain dead after the accident, died on Saturday morning after doctors removed him from life support, determining that his injuries were too severe to overcome. 

The accident occured on July 8th, when Glover – the son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster – was struck while riding in an inner tube in Atlanta's Lake Lanier. At press time, there was no official confirmation from Usher or Raymond on Glover's passing. 

Celebrity friends of Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, sent their condolences via Twitter on Saturday. "My heart and prayers are with Tameka & Usher and their families. I'm sorry for your lost, I'm here for both of you. From my family to yours," Wrote  Toni Braxton. Added Eric Benet, "Sending my deepest condolences to Usher and Tameka Raymond..and to family and friends of Kile Glover #RIPKile."

My Take On Things: 

Its sad when you hear about a young child who was just enjoying A day an then something bad happens like this. Jet Skis are so much fun but at the same time can be deadly. Any of the reports I read didn't say anything about alcohol being present but kind of makes you wounder how somebody struck Kile in his raft. I send my deepest condolences to the family. 

58 Injured 10 Dead In Movie Theater Shooting

Suspected Colorado movie theater gunman James Holmes purchased four guns at local shops and more than 6,000 rounds of ammunition on the Internet in the past 60 days, Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates told a news conference A few days ago "All the ammunition he possessed, he possessed legally, all the weapons he possessed, he possessed legally, all the clips he possessed, he possessed legally," 


Authorities have yet to identify the 10 victims who died at the theater. Two other people died at the hospital, including 24-year-old aspiring sportscaster Jessica Ghawi, for a total of 12 dead. Thirty people remained hospitalized, 11 of them in critical condition, Oates said.

Fifty eight people were injured, most of them by gunfire but a "handful" during the ensuing chaos, Oates said. One person was hit in an adjacent theater.

As for the dead, Oates said he hoped soon to get a "confirmed list of the 10 deceased and we will begin the agonizing process of meeting with those families and confirming what has happened to their loved ones."

The shooting occurred during a sold-out midnight premiere of the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight Rises," when Holmes, 24, allegedly unloaded four weapons' full of ammunition into the unsuspecting crowd.

The number of casualties makes the incident the largest mass shooting in U.S. history. Chief Oates earlier today said that police, bomb squads and the ATF have found a large number of explosive devices and trip wires at Holmes' apartment and have not yet decided how to proceed without setting off explosions.

"The pictures we have from inside the apartment are pretty disturbing considering how elaborate the apartment is booby trapped," police said outside of the apartment complex today. The "flammable and explosive" materials could have blown up Holmes' apartment building and the ones near it, police said. 

My take on things: 

For one this is just horrible to hear, Can't really believe it happen. Now it's to the point where I'm gonna be carrying my gun with a few clips when I take A date to the movies. Sounds like over kill now but when somebody does a stupid copycat of this thinking its cool maybe it won't be so bad. One thing that crossed my mind was do you think they will put more people on staff when a new movie comes out? Would they take a note from the homeland security or TSA an start having pat downs an metal detectors an x-rays? that's overboard but now its gonna be hard to bootleg but 

I'd rather watch A new movie streamed over my computer an have the comfort of using my own bathroom an if I were to get intimate with a female friend my bed is right there but lets not forget I wouldn't be paying $9 for a soda an popcorn. There's always gonna be lone gunmen out there you just gotta be always aware.

After Undergoing renovations to bring the property back to its former glory Al Capone’s old Florida estate will be placed on the market in Miami for almost 10 million dollars. The football-field-sized waterfront lot once owned by "Scarface" features verandas, a recreation room, private dock, and a black-and-gold Art Deco powder room that still looks like it did back in Capone’s day. 

The 36,000-square-feet island property at 93 Palm Avenue was Originally Bought for a measly $40,000 in 1928 ($538,000 today) Built in 1922 with gate house as well as a pool house.

The Real (Freeway) Ricky Ross Still Fighting Over Name

Former drug dealer "Freeway" Ricky Ross continues to wage legal battles with MMG's Rick Ross over the use of his name.

The ongoing case of "Freeway" Ricky Ross suing MMG’s Rick Ross over rights to the name continues, as a judge dismissed Warner Brothers (home of MMG) motion to dismiss the case.

Now "Freeway" Ricky Ross has 10 days to amend his suit which claims unfair business practice, false advertising, and unjust enrichment against Warner Brothers.   The case stems back to 2010, when Ricky Ross claimed Rozay was using his birth name, and personae to sell records. 

Back in 2011, "Freeway" Ricky Ross told HipHopDX,  “See, if I can show that there’s a likeness in what he’s saying and with my actual story, then that’s where the conflict comes in at. If a guy has worked all of his life at Burger King, and then he comes and says, Well, the guy is using my likeness. And the guy is rappin’ about selling drugs, then they would say, Oh, well you never sold drugs, you worked at Burger King. But in my situation, by me actually living that lifestyle everybody knows that I lived that lifestyle, knows that that was me. Now say for instance if he actually sold drugs – which he wouldn’t of named himself after somebody else, ‘cause drug dealers don’t name themselves after other drug dealers.”

Later in the aforementioned interview Ricky Ross says he will not be deterred if the case is unsuccessful – which to this point it has been – “"I was willing to go all the way to the Supreme Court when I fought it the first time. I’m not afraid of courts. I fought ‘em from a jail cell.”

From where I'm standing I feel Like Freeway Is right, Why would a drug dealer name himself after another dealer? Hmmm Maybe because he never sold drugs before. I remember when 50 cent got Rick Rozay Ross tax returns from when he was a prison guard. 

A$AP Rocky Arrested In Manhattan

A$AP Rocky was taken into police custody in downtown Manhattan after allegedly assaulting two men who were taking pictures of him.

Harlem’s A$AP Rocky  was taken into NYPD custody after allegedly assaulting two men who were taking photos of him while he was engaged in a verbal dispute. 

From TMZ, Rocky – real name Rakim Meyers – was downtown Manhattan and had gotten into a loud verbal dispute with someone.  Two passersby recognized the A$AP Mob member and starting snapping pictures.  This angered Rocky and his friend, and then a fight broke out.

The two victims suffered cuts and bruises with one needing treatment in the hospital. 

Responding police officers arrested the rapper on the scene, and according to a law enforcement source, Rocky will be booked for attempted robbery.  No news at this point as to what he is accused of trying to steal from the two men.

Designer Suing Jay-Z For Unpaid Royalties

The creator of the Roc-A-Fella logo is suing Jay-Z for $7 million in unpaid royalties.

Roc-A-Fella is synonymous with the rapper, businessman, NBA team owner Jay -Z, and now a New York designer is suing Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella label partners for $7 million dollars in unpaid royalties for not being properly compensated for designing Roc-A-Fella’s logo. 

As released by NYDailyNews, the designer, Dwayne Walker filed the suit yesterday claiming he has not received sufficient royalties for designing the logo.  He claims that in 1995, Damon Dash had a logo in mind and Walker told him he could do better and created the Roc-A-Fella we all recognize today.

From the lawsuit, “The logo has become universally recognized as an iconic symbol of Jay-Z, one of the most successful recording artists in the history of popular music”.

If Dwayne Walker accusations are truth, Pay that man his moneys. Crazy how the people who does all the leg work got the short end of the stick. DMX Hospitalized

DMX was hospitalized after sustaining a concussion in a four-wheeler accident.

DMX is in the hospital after injuring himself in a four-wheeler accident. X was riding his quad outside his home in South Caroline this morning when he lost control going down a hill.  He says he was "lucky" because he fell "right on his ass". 

He doesn't remember much from the accident except for being in the ambulance.  It appears he will be fine, but there is no time on when he'll be released from the hospital..... ouch  

Fugitive Captured In Mexico After 24 Years On The Run

 The U.S. Marshals Service has captured Vincent Legrend Walters, one of the law enforcement agency's 15 most wanted fugitives, in the Mexican resort city of Cancun.

Walters, 45, wanted on kidnapping, murder and drug charges stemming from a 1988 San Diego case, was apprehended Friday morning, then transported to Mexico City where he will await extradition to the United States, the service said late on Friday.

Walters had been working at the Cancun International Airport under the assumed name Oscar Rivera, according to a statement released by the agency.

Walters was targeted in an undercover Drug Enforcement Agency operation in 1988, accused of buying $20,000 worth of chemicals used to make methamphetamine as well as negotiating a $200,000 drug deal with undercover agents.

After he lost possession of the finished meth, Walters allegedly took three individuals hostage, including Christina Reyes, in an attempt to trade them for the drugs. But Reyes was killed in a botched release, gagged with a chemically saturated rag, according to the statement.

The U.S. Marshals Service said it worked closely with Mexican law enforcement authorities on the capture.

Sage Stallone Dead

Sage Moonblood Stallone, the 36-year-old son of Sylvester Stallone who starred alongside his father in "Rocky V" was found dead in his Hollywood apartment on Friday. The New York Post confirmed his passing with his attorney George Braunstein.  Sources tell The Post that he likely died of an overdose of pills, and that a representative of the LAPD stated, "There is no suspicion of foul play or criminal activity."

Wale's MMG debut "Ambition" has officially gone gold.

His label boss,Rick Ross, broke the news via Twitter this morning. Ambition has sold more than 500,000 copies since dropping on November 1st of 2011.

Farmer plants heart-shaped meadow for late wife

A devoted farmer painstakingly planted a tribute to his late wife, Janet, using 6,000 oak trees to etch out a giant heart in the middle of his field in South Gloucestershire, England. Howes, 70, and a gardener spent weeks planning and setting out each oak after his wife died suddenly 15 years ago. He planted the fledgling trees across a six-acre field after carefully marking out a heart shape in one half of the grass, with the heart pointing in the direction of her childhood home. The stunning crop was captured in its full beauty after a balloonist sailed over the farmhouse and photographed the field from the air.

The Highest Grossing Celebrity This Year Is (Drum Roll Please).....

Singer Taylor Swift was on her grind this year earning the most for any celebrity under 30. ( Yes she beat Justin Bieber) taking in $57 million, as women dominated the top spots on a list released by Forbes.com on Thursday.

Bieber, who brought in an estimated $55 million, was the only male among the top five earners, who included Rihanna at No. 3 with $53 million, followed by Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. (Dam Artists are slacking) 

"We are seeing a convergence of these talented women who know how to work the system," said Dorothy Pomerantz, the Los Angeles bureau chief for Forbes.

"The things they have in common, obviously they write great hits, are strong personalities. That really helps them from a publicity point of view. They connect with their fans," she added.

Kristen Stewart, who was the highest paid actress last year with an estimated $34.5 million in earnings, captured the No. 7 spot and was the only actress in the top 10.

Stewart, a lead player in the "The Twilight Saga" films, also had a hit with "Snow White and the Huntsman" (Great Movie) and is considered one of Hollywood's up-and-coming stars.

Her co-star in the "Twilight" films and real-life boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, came in at No. 10 with earnings of $26.5 million.

"'Twilight' has done wonderful things for these kids' bank accounts," said Pomerantz, adding that they are now making $12 million per film in the franchise. "What will be telling is how they do post-'Twilight.'"

To compile the list Forbes analyzed album and concert sales, movies earnings, profit participation, advertising work and endorsements between May 2011 and May 2012. Managers, lawyers, agents and other insiders were also consulted.

LeBron James named the latest version of his Nike basketball shoe line after Arnold Palmer. Yeah, heard that correctly. (Wounder if he's the next to get sued) James, who's coming off his first NBA championship with the Heat Tweeted a Picture of his new shoe he titled "LeBronold Palmer 9 lows." 


The shoe has that whole "Florida" vibe to it with palm trees and pastel colors as well a some Arnold Palmer ice tea accent on the insole. 


 Nike has yet to confirm if these shoes are going mainstream, but if they do, might we suggest they come in a soft spike model? It'd be a shame to name a shoe after Arnold Palmer and not make a model for the course.

Beanie Sigel Guilty of Tax Evasion (2 years)

Beanie Sigel was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion.

Beanie Sigel's legal woes continue as the rapper received his sentencing for pleading guilty to tax evasion.  (From HipHopDX) he was sentenced to two years in prison for failing to file taxes between 1999 and 2005, in which he owed $728,000.

The plea came back in August 2011 after he was facing three years in prison.  Sigel is no stranger to doing time, in 2004 he did a bid for a gun and drug possession charge, and returned to prison in 2008 for a third strike on violating his parole. 

He is required to report to the prison on September 12^th

Philly Pastor Has Beef With Meek Mill

A Pastor from Meek Mill's hometown of Philadelphia is upset with Meek's use of "Amen" in his song of the same name.

Meek Mill's stand-out single off his mixtape Dreamchasers 2 , "Amen" which features Jeremih & Drake, has been shunned by a Philadelphia Pastor named Jomo K. Johnson. The Pastor has been asking for a ban on radio play of "Amen."

Johnson is upset with Meek's use of the word "Amen" in his record, and he is even writing a book condemning Meek Mill and accusing him of blasphemy. The two got into a heated debate while on air on Philly's Hot 107.9, and didn't resolve anything.

During the on-air exchange, Meek says he thinks Pastor is just looking for fame and if he'd gone about it in a different way, Meek would have offered money to the church. 

"From my understanding and my look at it, it's looking like you're trying to get famous or you need some attention because you could've came to me and you could've said anything you wanted to say and I might've helped you," he said. "If you wanted me to send money for your church, I might've would've gave you that money, or I might've would've even remixed the song…you went about it and you went like you're looking for attention and fame, that's the way it's lookin' to me."

"I'm out here feeding my family, for you to talk about you want to ban me? I took thirty drug dealers off the street...where was you at?"

1st off how did this pastor even hear this song? Didn't know hardcore hip hop was his style. Also the fact that you're writing a book over one of his song just because it was on the radio. There's a hand full of songs that you could "Bitch" about but just because he is a Philly native you think you'll get more support from the hood. This is probably the same guy who was mad about drug dealers on the block but praised him when they donated money to the church. Last time I checked the Church isn't something I'd wanna trust. They've lied about sexual assault an who knows where all the money goes. Gold Coins Found At Israel Crusades Site

HERZLIYA, Israel (Reuters) - A 1,000-year-old hoard of gold coins has been unearthed at a famous Crusader battleground where Christian and Muslim forces once fought for control of the Holy Land, Israeli archaeologists said on Wednesday. The treasure was dug up from the ruins of a castle in Arsuf, a strategic stronghold during the religious conflict waged in the 12th and 13th centuries.

The 108 coins - one of the biggest collections of ancient coins discovered in Israel - were found hidden in a ceramic jug beneath a tile floor at the cliff-top coastal ruins, 15 km (9 miles) from Tel Aviv.

"It is a rare find. We don't have a lot of gold that had been circulated by the Crusaders," said Oren Tal, a professor at Tel Aviv University who leads the dig.

 Arsuf, which overlooks the Mediterranean sea, was the site of a famous 12th century victory for England's King Richard I - known as Lionheart - over Muslim leader Saladin.

About 80 years later, in 1265, the Muslim army returned under a different general, and lay siege to the city for 40 days. When the outer walls fell, the knights retreated to the castle, which was eventually destroyed.

The stash, Tal believes, belonged to the Knights Hospitaller who inhabited the castle. It may have been payment they were due to pay for leasing the land, or perhaps profits from industrial activities, he said.

The gold coins weigh about 400 grams (14 ounces) in total. Some were minted two centuries earlier in Egypt, and they will be studied over the next six months, Tal said.

"The study of these coins will contribute to our understanding of how large-scale economic interactions were made at the time," he said.
