Explosion at Fertilizer plant in Texas
WEST, Texas (Reuters) - Hundreds of people were likely injured in a fiery explosion on Wednesday night at a fertilizer plant near Waco, Texas, that damaged or destroyed numerous buildings, including a nursing home, authorities said.
The blast was reported at about 8 p.m. CDT (0100 GMT on Thursday) in West, a town of some 2,700 people about 80 miles south of Dallas and 20 miles north of Waco.
A spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, D.L. Wilson, told Reuters the blast had resulted in "probably hundreds of casualties," saying he did not know if any of those were fatalities.
He added that a nearby nursing home collapsed from the explosion and that people were believed to be trapped inside.
Lets just hope this was an accident!!

Falcons fan stabbed in throat by 49ers fan outside Georgia Dome after loss
ATLANTA - Most of the crowd leaving the Georgia Dome following the Falcons' 28-24 loss to the 49ers left calmly, contemplating what might have been. But in at least one instance, a dispute between a Falcons fan and a 49ers fan turned violent. According to WSB-TV reporter Rachel Stockman, witnesses reported that a Falcons fan punched a 49er fan, who in turn pulled a knife and either cut or stabbed the Falcons fan in the neck. Details such as the exact individuals involved in the incident and the victim's condition are not yet known. The victim was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. More details as they become available.

People of Chester PA firing off guns for New Years (Video)
This is the city of Chester in Pennsylvania right outside of Philadelphia on New Years Eve. A Chester cop recorded this outside of the station. I wounder how many of the gun they were firing off are legal? (I bet none) but people still think gun laws work? If you listen you can hear what sounds like AK47's an Tech 9's but hey, to some this is just everyday life. I personally think gun laws are pointless because guns seem to be easy to come by. Either they "fall off" the back of a truck etc etc.
